Employers Embrace E-Learning
February 12, 2007 |
Data from e-skills UK indicates that employers are realizing greater advantages from e-learning compared to conventional training techniques. The main reasons for using technology-based courses to train include accessibility, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, said eight out of 10 employers. These courses usually comprise training programs delivered via computers, either through the Internet or dedicated training software. Podcasting is also increasingly being used for training, with teachers transmitting audio files to students or chartrooms so students and teachers can discuss the subject matter.
